Marin Medical Reserve 

During the pandemic, I had the opportunity to volunteer with the Marin Medical Reserve Corp, where I helped facilitate COVID-19 testing in low-income communities. It was a time, especially since rapid testing was not yet available, but I felt a strong sense of purpose in assisting those who needed it most. Each day I met individuals who were eager to return to work and support their families, and it was rewarding to play a small part in their journey. This experience not only deepened my understanding of community health but also reinforced the importance of compassion and support during difficult times.

During my incredible journey with Cruise with a Mission, I had the privilege of providing essential healthcare to underdeveloped communities in Central America. This medical mission trip allowed me to connect deeply with the locals and witness firsthand the impact of our efforts. It was a rewarding experience that not only improved lives but also enriched my own understanding of different cultures.

During my time at Advent Health in Orlando, Florida, I took leadership classes to enhance my skills as a charge nurse in the progressive care unit. These classes provided me with valuable insights into effective team management, patient care strategies, and communication techniques. I learned how to lead with confidence and compassion, ensuring that both my team and patients received the highest level of support. This experience has been instrumental in my growth as a healthcare professional.
